2009年作、ギター紹介

今年の8月、韓国のKoYangでギターフェスティバルが行いました。
 KoYangはソウルから30分ぐらい離れている所で、ギター演奏会や、展示会などの行使が行われました。
ギターフェスティバルのOpening Concertとして、日本福岡のギターリスト橋口高橋さんが独奏会をしました。
演奏に使われた楽器は2009年5月に完成されたUhm TaeHeungさんのギターでした。

このギターは大阪の山岡さんからの注文で作られた作品で音が美しいのが特徴です。

この作品は韓国人の方の注文で作られた物で、昨年　大阪市の山岡さんが購入した楽器と同じ物です。

Choさんの演奏

同じくオムさんの2009年春作、ハカランダ・ギターです。 Choさんはアメリカに住んでいる物知りのお方です。 彼は子供のころからギターが好きで、一人で勉強して大学でもギター演奏を勉強したがったそうですが、あの時の韓国にはギターを専攻する大学がありませんでした。 それで、声楽の勉強をする事になりまして、いままではギターの授業を受けた事も無い、ギター愛好家です。 でも、ギターに対する愛情があり、音楽の事と音の事を非常に詳しく分かっているお方です。 今回彼にこのギターを見せたのは2週間の前にあったギター展示会でした。 それからは彼はこのギターを大好きになりまして、今回の演奏会に使いたいと希望もありました。 演奏がプロとは比べ物にならないかも知りませんが、彼の音楽に対する愛は素晴らしいです。 何時も彼は”自分が音楽で生活しない人ですから、何時までも音楽を楽しむ事が大切な事で、自分の演奏が下手ですから、自分の演奏を聞く人々が楽しく感じられると力を入れている。”と言います。

2009年春作　ハカランダ・ギター演奏

先週末に韓国のカフェーで行いましたコンサトに行きました。 そこで、先月に知り合いになりました大学生のParkさんとまた会えまして、彼女からオムさんが作ったギターを借りて演奏したいとお願いを頂いたので、ギターをかしてあけました。 彼女は以前からオムさんのギターの音が大好きでした。

嚴さんは手作りのギターを作り始めたのは19歳の時”アンドレス・セゴビア”の演奏から感動を受けたからだとそうです。それで彼はギターを作る事を決心し、友達から借りたギターを研究し作り始めました。
あの時、韓国にあるギターはすべて海外からの買った物で、ギター一本の値段は普通より何倍も高い貴重な物だし、ギター楽譜もあまり無かった時代たったの為、ギター制作の情報が一切無かった。
それで教えれくれる先生や、参考出来る本も無かった状態で音の感覚たけをたよりにギターを作り始めて、成功した。ギター制作が可能たった理由は彼の音に対する才能と努力でした。
中略。。。
”いい楽器ーは持ち主がどんな態度で演奏と管理をするので決まられる。音楽を知ってる人は楽器を人のように大切にする。それで音だけでもいい楽器を区別出来るように楽器に真心を込めて大切にする。”
これは彼が生きていた時によく言った言葉だ。

1942年ソウルで生まれた嚴さんは韓国最初のギター制作家嚴相玉さんの息子で高校卒業からはギターリストで、軍の勤務が終わった1965年からは父の後継ぎとして本格的にギター制作家の道をえらんだ。
嚴さんはギターの製作だけでは無く、演奏活動、演奏教育活動を行い韓国クラシク・ギター協会の設立に参加し、副会長を歴任した韓国ギター歴史に残られる活発な活動をして来た制作家であり、韓国ギター歴史を言える人で。。。

本来、嚴さんはクラシク・ギター演奏家の道を選んで夢を持っていた。何回もテレビ放送や演奏会に出るほどの実歴をもっていると評価されたが、韓国戦争後の家の事情為に彼の夢を広げる事が出来なかった。それで演奏家の夢をあきらめ、クラシク・ギター制作家として家業を付く事を決心した。

嚴さんのギター先生であるHeeHyong Ha先生は1950年代にはソウル市役所の広報課で勤務していた。その時、韓国クラシク・ギターの
当時、HeeHyong　Ha先生は日本産のスズキ・バイオリン7号（同時、韓国には5～6本ぐらいしか無かった。）を購入し演奏をしたバイオリン愛好家でしたが、その時からはクラシク・ギターだけを演奏するようになりました。
その後、弟子の嚴さんがInGul Kim先生を紹介し、今の”韓国ギター協会”の前身である”韓国ギター演奏家協会”を1959年創立する事になりました。

海外有名演奏家達との交流活動

嚴さんは韓国ギター協会で演奏家として活動した為、訪韓した海外の演奏家達と活発に交流して来ました。
特にベルリン・音大の教授ラウリ・レンドルフは嚴さんとふるい友人であり、何時も嚴さんのギターに対して助言をしてくれました。それで嚴さんのギターは韓国人の感情をよく表現出来ながらドイツ・楽器の音を同時に表現出来るようになりました。
そして、最近ドイツに開かれたMusic Messeで出会った多いドイツ音大教授達や演奏家達からは美しくて深い音をするギターだと評価されました。

活発な教育活動

嚴さんは他の制作家達と異なってギター制作だけでは無く、演奏と教育に力を入れて来ました。その理由は自分の夢だった演奏家を育ちたい気持ちもありましたが、生活の中に音楽と芸術を実験させたい気持ちが強かったそうです。
その為に韓国の大学でいくつかのクラシク・ギター同好会の創立を支援して来ました。その中で悳成女大のクラシク・ギター同好会の”雲香”の創立に力を入れ、創立以後10年ぐらいにレスンしました。
今も、その続きとして地元の文化センタでクラシク・ギターのレスンをしています。

海外有名ギター制作家との交流
1988年以前の韓国は海外に行く自由がありませんでした。それで1980年代までは訪韓する海外の制作家を会う以外には交流は出来ませんでした。
1988年から韓国人の海外旅行が自由化になってから、嚴さんは韓国を飛び出し、海外の制作家との交流を始めました。

その時、ドイツでギター制作をしている佐藤さん、そして日本でギター制作をしている松村さんと出会い、友達になりました。
お互いに言葉が通じてないけど、同じくギターを愛し製作しているし、同じ悩みをする人生を生きて来た人立達の間には言葉は要りませんでした。

Gazuo Satoさんはイギリスのホゼ・ルビオの下でギター制作の授業を受けた後、ドイツでギター制作をしている日本人制作家。
